The final report presents the discussion results on which non-energetic benefits arise from an energetic building renovation. It provides recommendations for action when making investment decisions.

The background is a 15-month project series “Additional benefits as a driver of energetic building renovation”, during which stakeholders from politics and administration, business, civil society, science and the media have exchanged ideas.

The project was implemented jointly by the HUMBOLDT-VIADRINA Governance Platform and the Buildings Performance Institute Europe and funded by the German Federal Environment Foundation.
