Trialog Report: “Sustainably on the move. Make mobility attractive now”
How can a turn towards sustainable traffic and mobility systems succeed in Germany, which contributes as effectively as possible to the achievement of the global sustainability goals?
This is one of the questions addressed by the Science Platform Sustainability 2030 (wpn2030) with the aim of developing scientifically based recommendations for action for political actors. For this purpose, the “Mobility” working group was formed in 2017 via the platform, headed by Prof. Dirk Messner (co-chair of wpn2030), Ursula Mathar (BMW Group, wpn2030 steering group member) and Christian Hochfeld (Agora Verkehrswende).
In this context, among other things, the trialogue “Sustainably on the move – make mobility attractive now” was held with the HUMBOLDT-VIADRINA Governance Platform. This paper is the report on the results of the trialogue.
A broad interdisciplinary exchange with science as well as a transdisciplinary exchange with politics, business and civil society in several steps is decisive for the further work of the working group.
