A real-world logistic lab for Berlin – A cooperation between science & practice

How can the increasing delivery traffic in a small-scale environment become city-compatible and sustainable with the help of cargo bikes? As part of the “New Urban Agenda Berlin” project, which the TU Berlin is implementing together with the HUMBOLDT-VIADRINA Governance Platform, a transdisciplinary project group “Real-World Logistic Laboratory” has been initiated.

At the first meeting on the 25^thof August 2019, stakeholders from politics, administration, business and organized civil society worked together with representatives of academic experts to develop a first project idea. The second meeting will take place on the 17^thof September 2019. The aim is to concretise the joint project outline and plan for its implementation.
