Dr. Romy Krämer holds a Masters in Psychology and a PhD in Business-Society Management from the Rotterdam School of Management in which she examined organising processes and power struggles in transnational anti-mining movements based on extensive fieldwork in East India. Romy has developed online and offline educational programs for social entrepreneurs and coached over 120 young activists and social entrepreneurs from 50+ countries. Currently, she is the Managing Director of the Guerrilla Foundation that backs activists and social movements across Europe to build grassroots power and help them tackle the root causes of the systemic crises of our time. She is an elected member of the European Steering Group of the EDGE Funders Alliance that organises over 100 progressive foundations from Europe & the Americas and a Fellow at Join Politics. Romy lives in Barcelona with her son and partner.
