From 01. December 2018 we are launching our topic-specific Twitter channels to provide you with more thematically relevant information about our activities, events and publications.

For years, the HUMBOLDT-VIADRINA has championed the promotion of democratic processes and deliberate governance strategies in Germany, Europe, and the world. In line with our mission statement, it is essential to us to strengthen the legitimacy and sustainability of democratic procedures and decision-making in order to contribute to solving societal challenges.
To achieve this goal, we focus on these two principles of good governance in particular: transparency and participation. Given this basis, we have developed innovative practices such as our Trialogs or Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives, which we utilise in a row of subject areas.
So far, we have informed you about this work through our overarching Twitter channel (@4GGovernance). However, the channel no longer meets our standard of providing you with topic-specific information. We are therefore pleased to update you with more topic-specific news through these new Twitter channels:

Of course, we will continue to update you on our activities regarding the Fisheries Transparency Initiative (@FisheriesTI) and Climate Transparency (@ClimateT_G20)
