Many studies have shown: The energy transition is technologically feasible. In addition, technological innovations are developing rapidly. However, people's habits and behaviour are changing less rapidly. But only if we are prepared to embrace new technologies and break old habitual patterns is it really possible to change our behaviour. This includes, for example, a flexible consumption of energy, more strongly adapted to the availability of volatile energy sources, a rethink in mobility and a more economical use of energy.

Stakeholders from politics & administration, business, organised civil society and science discussed this in the trialogue "2050 CO2-neutral. The energy system is being revolutionised. What does this mean for our future everyday life?"

The main points of discussion, arguments and justifications are summarised in this report. We hope you find it interesting reading!
