The Online-Conference “Resilience and Resources at the local level: How European funding can contribute to a more solidarity-based narrative about refugees.”, moderated by Dr. Malisa Zobel from the Municipal Integration and Development Initiative (MIDI) of the HVGP, takes place this Thursday, March 18, from 16:30 to 17:30 (CET).
On Wednesday, December 9, at 5 pm, the last online panel of the initiative “From the Seat to the City” (#Sea2City) will take place. The HVGP is a founding member of the #Sea2City-Initiative, which has been organizing panel discussions on the demands of the initiative since July.
On World Refugee Day, June 20, 2020, the initiative From the Sea to the City launched a campaign for a human rights-based EU refugee policy. Due to the ongoing corona pandemic, the conference of European cities and civil society planned for this summer in Palermo had to be postponed to April 16 & 17, 2021. To ensure that the time until then can still be used efficiently, the initiative is organizing several online panels around the five demands of the consortium for a new approach to EU refugee policy.
