Zeina Abbas has been a student project assistant at Climate Transparency since July 2022.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in politics and sociology from the Humboldt University in Berlin with a minor in economics. She also completed a degree in International Relations at the Faculty of Governance at Uppsala University in Sweden. Her special expertise is in the areas of policy consulting, and social analysis, as well as the coordination of international projects, conferences and the presentation of publications. Her work focuses on climate policy and security policy. She is currently studying a Master’s degree in Political Science with a specification in International Politics, Peace- and Conflict Studies.

Zeina previously worked in the health politics field and was also an intern at the League of Arab Nations.
