Sophie Rihane has been working at the Berlin Governance Platform since April 2023, first as an intern and since June as a working student. She supports the LEAP project, the Local Electricity Access Programme Transparency Initiative, which aims to pilot a participatory governance framework for local electrification in Senegal.
She holds a degree (B.Sc.) in Sustainable Management from the Technical University in Berlin. She is particularly interested in sustainable international development and innovation. In addition to her work at the Berlin Governance Platform, she is and has been a volunteer at various organisations, including AIESEC, and is currently a member of Enactus Berlin.
Sophie is currently completing a double Master's degree in Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability.
