The Kalletal Community Development Advisory Board presented its recommendation paper to the local council and mayor on Sept. 14. It contains clear goals and concrete proposals for measures to improve local health care. Some of the proposed measures, such as the establishment of a community medical care center, have already been taken up by politicians and will be pursued further.

The handover of the recommendations marks the end of an intensive phase of meetings. Between January and August 2023, around 30 advisory boards worked on the recommendations during four days of meetings. Kalletal is the first partner municipality in the model project Municipal Development Advisory Councils - Shaping the Future Together Locally in which the recommendations were handed over to the municipal council.
