Multi-stakeholder discussion on housing in cities

The tense housing market is a real problem in many cities, especially in cities with a high proportion of tenants such as Berlin. 13 representatives from politics & administration, business and organised civil society met digitally on 18 December 2020 to discuss the role of private housing associations for socially acceptable and climate-friendly housing provision in cities. Under the experienced moderation of Prof. Dr. Gesine Schwan, problems and approaches to sustainable housing supply were discussed. The event was based on previous talks since 2019. The aim of the series of talks is to overcome hardened fronts and to formulate common basic consensuses.
