The final report presents the results of the discussion on the non-energy benefits of energy-efficient building refurbishment. It identifies the basic consensus of the discussion and provides recommendations for action to bring the additional benefits more to the forefront of investment decisions.
The background is a 15-month project series "Additional benefits as drivers of energy-efficient building refurbishment" in which stakeholders from politics & administration, business, organized civil society, academia and the media have exchanged views.
The project was implemented jointly by the Berlin Governance Platform and the Buildings Performance Institute Europe and funded by the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt.
