The aim of the "Participatory Development Strategy for Lusatia" project, funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), is to integrate questions of culture and identity into the structural change process and to promote trust through participation and thus courage and confidence. The project aims to support the handling of diversity of perspectives as well as arguments and justifications as a basis for co-operation and shaping the future. As part of the nine-month project, in addition to the trialogue in Berlin, two workshops were held in Lusatia, attended by a total of around 70 stakeholders from politics and administration, business, organised civil society and academia as well as cultural professionals.

Stakeholders from politics & administration, business, organised civil society and academia discussed these topics at the trialogue on 16 January 2020.

The results of the discussions, the presentation of various participation projects and options for action are summarised in the report.
