The aim of the project "Participatory Development Strategy for Lusatia," which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), is to integrate issues of culture and identity into the structural change process and to promote trust through participation and thus courage and confidence. The project aims to support the handling of diversity of perspectives as well as arguments and justifications as a basis for cooperation and shaping the future. In the course of the nine-month project, in addition to the trialogue in Berlin, two workshops have taken place in Lusatia, with a total of about 70 stakeholders from politics & administration, business, organized civil society and academia, as well as cultural practitioners.

At the Trialogue on January 16, 2020, stakeholders from politics & administration, business, organized civil society, and academia discussed these issues.

The results of the discussions, the presentation of various participation projects and options for action are summarized in the report.
