On April 26, 2017 and April 27, 2017, the first two trialoge of the series "Participation in Housing" were held. Urban conflicts around the topic of new construction and densification as well as chances and limits of participation were collected and systematized in the discussion in order to reach a common understanding of the problem and to identify challenges as well as prerequisites for participation procedures.

The Trialog events were recorded and transcribed. The events were evaluated on the basis of the transcripts. A particular focus of the evaluation was to identify possible basic consensus corridors between the participants, to prepare different positions and their justifications in a structured way, and to identify framework conditions and criteria for participation in housing. This protocol summarizes the results of both trialogues based on the discussion transcript and also serves as a basis for discussion for the third trialogue of the series "Access to Participation and Structures for Participation" on June 23, 2017.

It is a "learning document" for preparing guidelines for participation.
