The impulse paper "Additional benefits as drivers of energy-efficient building refurbishment" was prepared for the participants of the trialogue "Building refurbishment - not just good for the climate. What are the additional benefits worth?". This trialogue took place on 5 September 2019 in Berlin.

The impulse paper provides an overview of the positive and negative additional benefits (multiple benefits) that arise in addition to the energy cost savings from a good energy-efficient refurbishment. Quantification approaches for these additional benefits are also presented.
