The Berlin Institute for Participation (bipar) has been publishing the Kursbuch Bürgerbeteiligung since 2015. The new edition from spring 2023 contains an article by Gesine Schwan entitled "Kommunale Entwicklungsbeiräte als wirksame Bürgerbeteiligung in der repräsentativen Demokratie".
