Project Lead – Re:Match

The Berlin Governance Platform seeks an experienced Project Lead to head Re:Match, a flagship European social innovation project relocating Ukrainian refugees from Poland to German municipalities based on individual profiles and labour-market needs. The Project Lead holds full strategic and operational responsibility, managing a multidisciplinary team, coordinating partners in Germany, Poland and Canada, overseeing the development of the matching algorithm, and ensuring smooth relocation cycles. The role includes stakeholder engagement at municipal, national and EU levels; oversight of monitoring, evaluation and reporting; and management of ESF and DPL grant compliance. Candidates should bring a relevant master’s degree, at least four years’ experience leading complex multi-partner projects with substantial budgets, and expertise in migration, asylum and labour-market policy. Native-level German and fluent English are required; familiarity with civic tech and Ukrainian/Russian language skills are an asset.
