Tara Ella Grimm has been working in the area of Democracy She works for the Berlin Governance Platform – initially as a project co-ordinator responsible for the programme area’s strategic communications, and now as a project manager for Municipal Development Councils. She is currently supporting local authorities in shaping their heating plans and the heating transition in a participatory manner.
Before joining the Berlin Governance Platform, she worked in the field of child and youth participation as a consultant for political communication. As a freelance consultant, she also supported civil society organisations and initiatives in bringing their concerns into political debates through targeted communication and advocacy strategies, as well as developing and implementing participation projects, political education, and strategic advocacy with young people.
Tara is a trained mediator and studied Development Studies and International Relations in Sussex, England, as well as Public Policy in The Hague and Barcelona.
