Dominique Pannke leads the project Shaping the future together – Municipal Development Councils since January 2022.
Dominique studied political science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and is a trained mediator. Dominique has developed and implemented innovative processes of citizen participation in municipalities in the field of renewable energies in a pilot project funded by the Umweltbundesamt. In the last years, she has acted as a consultant in dealing with social change processes and related arising conflicts within municipalities.
She is experienced in providing systemic conflict analyzes, designing processes of participation and facilitating large group events. In addition, she gathered many years of expertise as a trainer for conflict transformation and Non-Violent Communication (by Marshall Rosenberg).
Previously she worked for InWent gGmbH (later Engagement Global). There she headed an educational program for volunteers from the German Development Service (later GIZ).
