The role of socio-political actors in climate policy: final report published!

The "Social Actors Project" of our Climate&Energy team, funded by the Allianz Foundation, is coming to a close. The final report is now available for download.

Municipal development advisory councils - four new municipalities have been determined!

On June 6, 2023, our expert jury selected four municipalities for the new project cycle 2023 - 2025. Until April 2025, the Berlin Governance Platform will support the cities of Cottbus, Duisburg, Frankfurt (Oder) and the joint municipality of Meinersen in establishing the new participation approach "Municipal Development Advisory Board" on site.

Discussion group "Climate. Politics. Social."

In a panel discussion, we present the results of our Social Actors project and offer a platform for an exchange of experiences of social policy actors on their role in the socio-ecological transformation.

Hoyerswerda Municipal Development Advisory Council: Planning for the green fringe

Hoyerswerda is a partner municipality in the model project Municipal Development Advisory Councils. Since January 2023, around 30 voluntary advisory councils in Hoyerswerda have been working on an overall concept for the Green Belt.
