Karol Sabo was the process facilitator for the Municipal Development Advisory Board in Cottbus. In 2022-2023, he also supported the advisory board in Hoyerswerda.
Karol studied geoecology and environmental policy at the TU Freiberg, University of Potsdam and FU Berlin. He has also trained as a coach and supervisor (DGSv), as well as a certified mediator and trainer for mediation (BM).
As a freelance process facilitator, he has many years of experience in citizen participation - on a wide range of topics from energy production, integration, ecological renaturation, addiction prevention to senior citizens' policy.
In recent years, he has advised local authorities in conflictual social change processes, supported strategic development processes in local administrations and conducted management training for civil society organisations.
As a trainer for communication, dealing with conflicts and mediation, he travels throughout Germany in organisations and educational institutions. Further information is available at
