Karol Sabo ist für die Berlin Governance Platform als Prozessbegleiter tätig. Er hat zwei Kommunale Entwicklungsbeiräte in Hoyerswerda sowie den Prozess in Cottbus/Chóśebuz begleitet. Zudem bringt er seine Expertise in die Arbeit des Fachbeirat Municipal Development Councils in.
Karol studied geoecology and environmental policy at the TU Freiberg, University of Potsdam and FU Berlin. He has also trained as a coach and supervisor (DGSv), as well as a certified mediator and trainer for mediation (BM).
Als freiberuflicher Prozessbegleiter verfügt er über längjährige Erfahrung in der Bürger:innenbeteiligung – zu einem breiten Themenfeld von Infrastruktur, Stadtentwicklung, Belange von Menschen mit Behinderung, zivilgesellschaftlichem Engagement bis zu Naturschutzmanagement.
In recent years, he has advised local authorities in conflictual social change processes, supported strategic development processes in local administrations and conducted management training for civil society organisations.
As Trainer for communication, dealing with conflicts and mediation he works for organisations and educational institutions throughout Germany.
