Laura Gerards Iglesias is head of the Institute for Conflict Management at the European University Viadrina the field of dialogue and transformation, and is writing her doctoral thesis on current challenges and innovative approaches to democratic conflict resolution.
At the Berlin Governance Platform, she was project manager for [...], from 2022 to 2025 Municipal Development Councils and implemented the programme for the first time with local authorities across Germany. Together with Prof. Dr Gesine Schwan and the team, she applied the concept and the experience gained in various Publications documented. As a member of the advisory board, she continues to support the professional development and evaluation of the format.
Laura studied International Affairs at the Hertie School in Berlin and the Graduate Institute in Geneva, as well as European Studies at Maastricht University and Sciences Po Paris.
