The Municipal Development Council in Frankfurt (Oder) - Słubice had the task of developing a model for the use of an area directly adjacent to the city bridge that connects the two cities. The focus was on strengthening residential and mobility options, climate neutrality, the transport revolution, smart city concepts and efficient city management.
Over four meetings between April and October 2024, the 36-member advisory board developed a comprehensive recommendation paper in a bilingual, simultaneously interpreted process. It defines the functions of the area for the twin city, sets out design principles and develops ideas for lively (interim) use.
