Re:Match project - info sheet for local authorities

This is a screenshot of the info sheet attached as a PDF. Building on international experience, the Berlin Governance Platform would like to pilot an algorithm-based matching mechanism for the relocation of protection seekers from Ukraine to Germany and thus offer a solution to the challenges in the reception and (European) redistribution of refugees from Ukraine. For the 14-month pilot project Re:Match, a matching procedure is to be developed in close cooperation with German city administrations, international matching experts and Polish partner organisations in a first step, which will then be used in a second step to distribute refugees from Ukraine who are currently in Poland to German municipalities that are willing to accept them on an individual and needs-oriented basis using algorithm-based matching. Interested municipalities can find more details on participating in the project in this information sheet.

Building on international experience, the Berlin Governance Platform would like to develop a algorithm-supported matching mechanism for the relocation of people seeking protection from Ukraine to Germany and thus offer a solution to the challenges in the reception and (European) redistribution of refugees from Ukraine.

For the 14-month pilot project Re:Match In close cooperation with German city administrations, international matching experts and Polish partner organisations, a matching procedure is to be developed in a first step, which will then be used in a second step to place refugees from Ukraine who are currently in Poland in German municipalities willing to accept them by means of algorithm-supported matching. Individualised and needs-oriented to distribute.

This information sheet provides more details on participation in the project for interested municipalities.
