Hannah Schindler is Project Coordinator of Climate Transparency at the HUMBOLDT-VIADRINA Governance Platform since July 2016.
Hannah studied International Relations with a focus on international climate and development policy in the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. She has a special expertise in policy analysis and the development of country assessment and advocacy strategies. Further, Hannah has significant experience in conceptualizing and implementing international cooperation projects.
Prior to joining the Platform, she worked as a manager for institutional and private partnerships at Action contre la Faim. At the think tank adelphi, Hannah conducted research and organized workshops in the areas of climate and energy policy as well as sustainable urban development for the Federal Foreign Office and the KfW Development Bank. Within the Green Economy Program of GIZ, she supported the knowledge exchange with and between emerging economies. This included the conceptualization of a regional Green Economy Conference in Latin America in cooperation with UNEP and the initiation of an Indian-German expert forum.
Hannah conducted internships at the European Commission, a foundation in Bolivia and the CSR department of Scholz&Friends GmbH.
